WORLD AKHAL-TEKE VIRTUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009

You are invited to participate in the World Akhal-Teke Virtual Championship competing for the title "World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion - 2009". This virtual show is offered by multiple request from Akhal-Teke owners world wide. To enter your Akhal-Teke(s) in this show, please follow the instructions below:

Rules for entering Akhal-Tekes in WORLD AKHAL-TEKE VIRTUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (WATVC) competing for the title World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion 2009.
1. Requirements for horses
1.1. The following horses can be entered in the WATVC 2009:
- Purebred Akhal-Tekes registered with the Russian State General Studbook for Purebred Akhal-Tekes.
- Stallions and mares from the age of two years and up.
- Stallions with bilateral chryptorchidism cannot be entered in this show. .

2. Documents required for entering horses in WATVC.
2.1. Completed application form. Attachment 1.
2.2. Videofilm recorded according to the requirements in Attachement 2.
2.3. Five digital color photos size 1024х768 pixels. The photos may not be manipulated it any way:
- Two photos of the side of the horse, one from the left side and one from the right side.
- One close-up photo of head and neck in profile.
- Two photos of the full lengtht of legs of the horse, one photo from of the front and one photo from begind.
2.4. A scanned copy of the registration certificate.
2.5. The Scanned copy of a veterinary certificate declaring that the horse is not bilateral chryptorchid or suffer from shortened lower jaw (parrot mouth) and a health declaration.
2.6. The entry fee per horse is 30 EUROs and is non-refundable. Payment instructions can be found in Attachement 3.
All required documents listed in paragraphs 2.1 – 2.6 must be sent to Kamal Mirhohdjaev via email address mirhodjaev@yahoo.com not later than April 15, 2009. The entry fee must be paid in accordance with instructions in Attachment 3 not later than April 15, 2009.
3. The following classes are offered in the WATVC:
- Class 1. Junior class.Two-year-old colts (the title Colt World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion - 2009);
- Class 2. Junior class. Two-year-old fillies (the title Filly World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion -2009);
- Class 3. Open class. Three year and older stallions (the title Stallion World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion - 2009);
- Class 4. Open class. Three years and older mares (the title Mare World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion - 2009);
The Champions of the four classes above will compete for the title The World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion - 2009.

4. Judges
4.1. There will be 6 judges
Riabova TN. Studbook manager for the Russian State Studbook for purebred Akhal-Teke horses, leading scientific employee of VNIIK., candidate of the biological sciences. Ryazan, Russia.
Klimuk A.S. – Selection manager for Stavropol stud.Stavropol, Russia.
Godekov D. – Director of Ashkhabad Racetrack, Councilman and Director GO of Turkmen Atlary. Ashgabad, Turkmenistan.
Babayev L.I. – manager and founder of Shael stud V.P.SHAMBORANTA. Moscow, Russia
Dzhaparov M.H. – manager of Brothers Dzhaparoves studfarm. Dagestan, Russia
Topfer С. – owner of Hofgut Hurzfurt stud, Germany.

4.2. Each expert, will independently evaluate type and conformation from the submitted for photo- and video material animal on 10 point scale and note their personal points in a protocol.
5. Order of announcements of the results and awards.
5.1. Winners of class 1 and class 2 will receive the title "Young World Akhal-Teke Champion - 2009". The second place of class 1 and class 2 will receive the title"Reserve Young World Akhal-Teke Champion - 2009". The first place and second place winners are rewarded with a red ribbon and a class I diploma. The horses placed third or lower will receive a green and blue ribbon as well as class II or III certificate. accordingly. The Winners will also be rewarded with valuable prize.
5.2. The Winners of the class 3 and class 4 will get the title "Stallion or Mare World Akhal-Teke Virtual - 2009", the second placed in class 3 and class 4 will get the title "Reserve Stallion or Mare World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion - 2009". The Winners and second prizewinners are rewarded with red ribbons a classs I diploma. The third placed and lower will be rewarded with blue and green ribbons class II and class III certificates.
5.3. The World Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion - 2009 are rewarded a cup, corresponding to certificate and valuable prize.
5.4. The results of WATVC - 2009 will be declared in Tashkent, Uzbekistan during the "Star of Turkestan - 2009". Championships. The results as well as photos and videos of the entered horses will be published on www.ahalteke-sher.uz and argamak.wato.org official web site of WATO.
5.5. Diplomas, certificates, cups, and ribbons as well as other prizes will be sent by mail to the participants.

Attachment 2

REQUIREMENTS for VIDEO RECORDING of the PARTICIPANT of the SHOW

1. The Horse must be presented in a plain bridle with a single snaffle bit, the bridle should be without noseband.
2. The required movements must be performed on an area with even ground of the minimum size of 20x20 m.
3. The horse should be filmed for 2 minutes from the side and from the front and from behind. The horse should be positioned from the side so that all four legs are visible. The horse should then be shown ar walk in hand on a triangle. Begin with walking from the camera, turn to the right and contiune walking on the leg of the triangle, then turn towards the camera and finish the last leg of the triangle, stand the horse in front of the camera with the right side towards the camera. Trot away from the camera, then turn to the left trot the leg of the triangle, turn to the left and trot towards the camera.
4. The handler must not block the view of the horse from the camera.
